Suryo Bambang Sulisto, Chairman of Chamber of Commerce Indonesia (Kadin) and Six Capital are proud to announce the launch of the SBS-Six Capital Scholarship Programme – a fund that will be used to train promising Indonesian university students to become financial traders. The scholarship will also include a six-month internship with Six Capital in Jakarta, as well as Singapore and Shanghai. It will ultimately help students develop skills that contribute toward a higher income in the long term.
As a start, the SBS-Six Capital Scholarship Programme will work closely with the Association of Indonesian Private Higher Education Institutions (APTISI), which represents over 3,000 members across Indonesia.
“This Scholarship Programme is to encourage professionalism and talent development in financial trading in Indonesia,” said Mr Sulisto. “It is my contribution to improving the quality of future business leaders.”
Patrick Teng, Founder, Chief Dealer and CEO of Six Capital, says “We want to create a Center of Excellence for Foreign Exchange and Financial Trading in Indonesia. In the future, jobs will be very different and we want to create skills that will allow young Indonesians to be empowered to determine their own income.”
